2008 highlights
Unfortunately, I was forced to take off from racing during the 2008 season to continue recovery from breaking my neck in July 2007 from a car accident.
I did however continue to be involved in racing and showed success on the other side of racing.
During 2008 I worked for AB-1 Motorsports as crew chief for Jevaughn Simons. We traveled across the USA to contest the WERA National Championship. The team was able to win the 600cc Novice National Championship.
The true highlight was in in May 2008. I traveled to the Isle of Man to work for John Richards Pro Superbikes Racing to be a part of the team and work on Mike Crellin and John Crellin's race bikes. Both riders enjoyed success over the two weeks. I was able to work with the team to ensure the bikes ran smoothly for the two weeks and the pit stops were performed perfectly during the races.
2007 Highlights
WERA Regional @ Summit Point Raceway, WV - 750cc Superstock Expert: 4th place
Unfortunately, my debut Expert season of 2007 was cut short after being involved in a car accident in July and breaking the C1 vertebrae in my neck. I was in a neck collar and laid up in my house for nearly 4 months. I spent the rest of 2007 and the majority of 2008 in rehab and getting back to perfect health.
